Air Force Aircrew or Intelligence?

You can't stay in forever...you will have a retirement date. At the current rate of inflation, depending on where you live, you will not be able to live on your retirement pay; especially if you are married with children. Therefore, you need to think long term and not just what seems like it would be fun to you at the current time. Additionally, you need to think about the possibility of a particular AFSC being downsized in the future, in which case, you may not have an opportunity to cross into anything and will NOT get to retire. Do you have the option of going intel aircrew? There are a few jobs in demand that are both flying jobs and intel. Intel will get you the clearance that you can use to make serious money when you do get out...and you will get out.
