Why are so many Asian girls named Jenny?

At my school, it look like half the Asian girls were named Jenny or some variant of that name. Why? It's like all the Asian parents decided on that name. It's becoming a stereotype. It's like the Shaniqua (sorry if I offend anyone). Winnie is a really common Asian girl name. Where does that come from? Winnie the Pooh?
