ual tensions between friends?

I am bi and my best friend is gay. I like him and I have told him this, but I don't know if he knows how much I do. I usually have a lot of fun when he hang out, but today was kind of weird. We have never done anything ual (no kissing or even hugging) but I am attracted to him both emotionally and ually. Today I felt a little out of place and uneasy around him. Cold it be that I was just having a bad day or could there be ual tension there? If so, is there any way to resolve it? I don't want to do anything that could put our friendship in jeopardy.
